On 7 October 2021, a little under three months after the slot arrived, BGaming announced two extra features for Aloha King Elvis. They are Buy Bonus and Chance x2.5. The studio said both were already live for players worldwide, and that extra features would also come to other titles in its range.
What changed
- Buy Bonus. A player can buy not only the free spins but also the Coin Respin round. The price is shown on the Buy Bonus button, and the rules say it rises automatically when the bet is raised. After a purchase, the next spin starts the chosen bonus.
- Chance x2.5. This raises the bet and gives the player better odds of reaching the free spins or the Coin Respin game.
- The rules state that the two options are mutually exclusive: while one is active, the other is switched off.
The studio's comments
A marketing manager at BGaming was quoted as saying the launch had inspired the team and that the chance to buy a bonus always appeals to players. We paraphrase that rather than repeat it. The post also describes the game as a 5x3 slot with 25 lines. Its press text quotes a few different top-exposure numbers across the announcements, so for the maximum multiplier we rely on the Players Hub figure of 2,000.
Why it matters for a player
These options change how you can reach the bonus rounds, but they do not change what the game is. Buying a feature means paying its price up front, and Chance x2.5 means a larger stake on every spin while it is switched on. Neither is described as improving the long-run return, which the Hub lists as 94.98% for this slot. The rules also remind readers that purchase features may be unavailable depending on the licence an operator holds, so what you see in one casino may not appear in another. If you decide to try them, do it in the free demo first and set a limit before real money is involved. See the Aloha King Elvis page for the specification.
